I have a PhD from the Universite of Quebec a Rimouski in Canada, followed by a postdoc at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in Florida. I held a position as an assistant research professor at FAU before moving to NOFIMA.
My expertise is in reproductive and developmental biology of fish.
My overarching research interests revolve around the reproductive physiology and ecology of freshwater and marine fish, aquaculture of new species, aquaculture nutrition, and research on early life stages of fish (eggs, larvae, and juveniles).
I investigate the use of essential fatty acids by larvae and eggs during the endogenous period, and first feeding phases to assess their health and overall capacity to survive.
