Biografi Tone Mari Rode

Jeg arbeider som forsker hos Nofima, avd. Prosessteknologi i Stavanger. Startet som stipendiat innen mikrobiologi og genteknologi hos Nofima Mat (tidl Matforsk) på Ås i 2004. Fortsatte deretter som post doc. samme sted. Arbeidet hovedsakelig med patogene bakterier, og en av fellesnevnerne var arbeid med stress responser – hvordan bakterier blir påvirket når de blir eksponert for ulike typer stress (f.eks temperatur, syre og konserveringsmidler). Siden 2010 har jeg vært ansatt som forsker hos Nofima Norconserv, Stavanger. Arbeider med bl.a. høytrykksbehandling av mat. Utdannelse: PhD i mikrobiologi/genteknologi fra Universitetet for miljø- og biovitenskap, Institutt for Kjemi, Bioteknologi og Matvitenskap. “Stress responses of food related Staphylococcus aureus”. Siv.ing/MSc ibioteknologi, Universitetet i Tromsø, Institutt for marin bioteknologi. ”Characterisation of cDNA sequences of antimicrobial peptides in spider crab (Hyas araneus) and red king crab (Paralithodes camtschatica)” Bioingeniør, Høgskolen i Ålesund.
