This is our application process
Nofima wants to recruit outstanding scholars for research projects, education positions and scientific positions. We recruit both recent graduates and candidates with lengthy experience.
We list most job vacancies via jobbnorge.no. Some positions, such as senior management jobs, are announced through recruitment agencies.
The process consists of the selection of appropriate candidates, one or more interviews, background checks and personality tests when deemed necessary.
In the interview/interviews, Nofima discusses the vacant position and tells a little about Nofima as a workplace. We also want to map the candidate’s professional and personal competences. When deemed necessary, candidates are called in for additional interviews. After this, candidates are recommended for employment.
The candidate’s potential is assessed based on a wide range of criteria, both when evaluating applications and in the face-to-face interviews.
When the process is over, all applicants are notified of the result.
