Summary
The purpose of this report is to assess various strategies for developing new and year-round jobs in the post-harvest seafood industry. The report is organized as follows. First, the purpose of the report is explained. Then a brief review is given of the status of employment in the Norwegian post-harvest seafood industry. The report then discuss various driving forces for the development described. Based on the status and drivers, the report goes on to discuss various alternative strategies, institutionally and at company level, to increase future new and year-round jobs in the Norwegian post-harvest seafood industry.
