Summary
A new HPLC system for analysis of biogenic amines was validated (BIOLAB method A55). The new instrument is an Agilent 1260 Infinity II, which replaces a Perkin Elmer Series 200. There are no changes in the method principle or sample matrices. Accuracy, precision, and linearity were assessed, and the validation demonstrated that the performance of the instrument is as expected. The report has been reviewed by Norwegian Accreditation and the instrument has been approved for accredited analyzes as of November 13th 2020.
