FULLTEKST

The objectives of the RENSVEL project are to deliver robust science based knowledge on operational welfare indicators in
Ballan wrasse and lumpfish. The project also aimed to provide new knowledge on potential thresholds for OWIs that may
be critical for the species' welfare. A knowledge based summary of key OWIs for each species has also been developed,
addressing key environmental, group and individual OWIs such as oxygen, behavior and morphological indicators such as
fin damage and also LABWIs such as cortisol, chloride and magnesium.
