The quality of fresh landed cod from Norwegian coastal fisheries has been known to vary according to season, harvesting tools and way of handling. Nofima has conducted a study over several years to assess and evaluate the quality of the raw material. This report summarizes the findings from the years 2014 and 2015, and also gives a brief introduction to the marketing perspective of this work.
