This report is part of a project financed by FHL/FHF; ” The importance of sustainability in demand for seafood””. In today’s world new and different terms set new standards for production and marketing of seafood. These terms sometimes lack a clear definition and/or are borrowed from different conceptual contexts which seem to create confusion for those who are going to deploy these assets into their products. Sustainability is one such word and the aim of this report is therefore to map the different sustainability certification schemes and then look closer at those regimes that may be of importance to Norwegian seafood production.
