This report is a mapping of seafood related market research in Norway, Western-Europe and North-America. The mapping reveales that 10 insitutes in Norway, five University departments in Europe, and one Universtity department in North-America have seafood related marketing research to some degree. In addition, two large projects are included in this mapping. This is the EU project SEAFOODplus, and a Nordic collaboration project named MARIFUNC.
It has been practical to divide this research into sixs primary subjects:
1. Consumer reseach
2. Market strateg and market organisation
3. Industrial buying behavior
4. Demandfunction analysis
5. Market integration and market power
6. Heonic models, environmental labelling and market models.
This mapping is partly dependent on respons from key informants at the institutes, which implies that there is a possibility that not all reseach activities are included.
