In this work, storage of frozen shrimp (Pandalus borealis) at -20, -30 and -40 °C, respectively, have been studied with respect to yield. The shrimps were stored up to six months with subsequent sampling each month. The results show that storage temperature does not influence the yield of the shrimps. However, it was observed that the size of the shrimps varied more than indicated on the labelling; 200–300 shrimps per/kg. As the size of the shrimps influences the yield, it is assumed that variation in size has influenced a potential coherence between storage temperature and yield.
