Biography Tatiana N Ageeva

I am a PhD. student employed by Nofima, Tromsø and have been working here since August 2014. My research areas include seafood, seafood industry and capture-based aquaculture. In addition, I have my Master’s degree in Seafood Science from the Norwegian College of Fishery Science (2014), UiT (The Arctic University of Norway). My work is part of a big project CATCH: Market-oriented and sustainable value chains for cod products based on live storage. I work with live caught cod, the work lies at the intersection of physiology and product quality. The aim of the project is to increase understanding of how the raw material quality of live stored cod can be optimized, with special focus on muscle quality related to harvest season and handling procedures.
