Biography Bjørn Tore Rotabakk

Competence My name is Bjørn Tore Rotabakk, and I am a researcher at Nofima Food, Stavanger. I started here as a PhD-student in August 2004, and finished my PhD autumn 2007 at University of Life science (UMB). My PhD was about modified atmosphere packaging, and alternative methods to reduce packaging size and extend shelf life. I mainly work with food quality and shelf life, together with packaging. Education I got my education from the University high school in Sør Trøndelag, where I got a bachelor in food science, before I encountered a master degree at UMB. Before I became a PhD-student, I worked at Tine, Sortland high school and University high school of Ålesund.
