Nofima has its own bakery, fully equipped with trolley ovens, small scale equipment and analysis opportunities.

In the bakery, your company can receive assistance with:

  • Optimising formulae/recipes
  • Improving formulae/recipes
  • Testing ingredients
  • Testing processes

Bakers, pâtissiers and others needing assistance can make use of our bakery, for practical problems connected with product development, for demonstrations or courses.

The bakery is part of Nofima’s food workshop, which also offers a meat hall, fish hall, vegetable hall, packing hall and meals laboratory. They are all approved by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority.

Nofima’s food workshop is an inter-disciplinary environment and is particularly suitable for working on complex products that include several types of raw materials.
