Climate changes are happening right now and they are threatening sustainable growth in aquaculture and fisheries worldwide. ClimeFish wants to draw the focus to the necessity of change, both when it comes to using opportunities while mitigating risks under the effects of climate change on aquaculture and fisheries.

The overall aim with AQUAEXCEL2020 is to integrate the most successful research facilities within aquaculture in Europe. The project shall provide access to easily accessible high quality infrastructures, resources and services, based on aquaculture needs, and by such stimulate to excellent research and sustainable innovations to both private and public sector.
This project will study how feed composition affects physiological mechanisms that control the pigmentation of salmon muscle and contribute to the development of a feed that secure good and predictable pigmentation of farmed salmon.
