Tor-Arne Krakeli

I work as a chemical researcher in the BioLab Department, and have been here since 2011.

I am responsible for the following methods of analysis: Nitrogen combustion (Dumas), Fibres, Peptide distribution, Viscosity, Specific gravity, Degree of hydrolysis (OPA), Fat extraction (Bl&D), Anisidine number (extract), Peroxide number (extract), Free fatty acids (extract).

I am also involved in method validation, HSE (chemical handling, waste management, chemical index, risk assessments) and quality assurance.

I have a master’s degree in Industrial Chemistry and Biotechnology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) (2009).
