I work at the department for industrial economics and strategic managament in Tromsø. I have been at the department since 2015. I am an Economist by profession, with a masters degree from the University of Tromsø. My research areas include analyses of structure, profitability, value creation, employment and competitiveness in the Norwegian fish processing industry. I also perform economic impact/ripple effect analyses on the seafood value chain. In the later years I’ve also studied the effects of exchange rate fluctuations on the seafood industry. Apart from performing different analyses, I also have partial responsibility for updating and maintaing our institutes many databases on the seafood industry.
