I am a scientist with experience in biotechnology, food research and medical research with great interest and commitment to science. I am a civil engineer in gene technology at the University of Tromsø and has PhD on GMOs from the National Veterinary Institute. I then took my post.doc working on cancer research and human medicine in the Department of Pathology, Rikshospitalet. There I was studying cancer cell development and signaling. Today, I work as a researcher at Nofima AS, where I am responsible for our in vitro cell systems. I am interested in muscle development and food quality, bioactivity, food and health.
