Biography Silje Elde
I am a research scientist at the department of Industrial Economics in Nofima. My research mainly focuses on aquaculture/fish farming economics and EU projects. I will, among other projects, be working on FoodIntegrity and EU-China-Safe aimed at mapping the value chain of food products, documenting fraud and developing methods to prevent misdescription of food. My formal background is a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics from the University of Tromsoe.
