I work as a researcher at Nofima at the Department of Marine Biotechnology. I want the marine resources to be better utilized and our research looks at better total utilization of marine residual raw materials and marine species. I use various processing methods such as enzymatic hydrolysis to extract value components from the raw material that further can be used for human consumption or as a feed ingredient.
I have a doctorate in structural chemistry from Norstruct, University of Tromsø, where I have looked at the structure and function of proteins involved in DNA repair and replication.
