Biography Bjørn Gundersen
I work with chemical and physical testing methods on fish and fish products. I have also worked on the production of fish mince, salted fish, fish oil and surimi. I am educated as a chemistry engineer and have taken university courses in analytical chemistry, chromatography and project management. I have two years’ experience as a laboratory engineer at a petrochemical company followed by six years at the teaching laboratory at the University of Tromsø. I started at Nofima (formerly Fiskeriforskning) in 1986.
