Biography Antje Gonera
I am senior scientist for market-driven innovation and leader of Nofimas strategic research program “Orchestrating Food Innovation”. In our research area we focus on understanding of hidden consumer/customer needs to identify opportunties for innovation, we develop and establish innovation tools in order to increase success rate and value generation of innovations, and we contribute to understanding and formation of networks and other forms of collaboration. I have extensive experience from differnet srategic roles in industry. I have been leading R&D groups and innovation projects in the FMCG industry (food, cosmetics, packaging etc.). I was also responsible for global product and technology strategies and migration plans and have broad experience in leading organizational improvements.

The main objective of this research program is to contribute to research-driven innovation in the Norwegian food industry in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals through understanding innovation processes, consumers, and product and process interactions.
1. October 2020 – 30. September 2023
The project NORSKVegetar will work with key challenges to increase the production of Norwegian food products in the vegetarian segment, based on Norwegian plant-based raw materials.
1. March 2017 – 28. April 2021
FoodProFuture aims to develop the necessary knowledge platform for optimal production and utilization of Norwegian plant resources into tasty, healthy and attractive plant-based food products with high protein content.
1. January 2017 – 31. December 2020
The main objective of this research program is to contribute to increased and sustainable growth in the food industry through increased innovativeness in the food value chain.
1. January 2013 – 31. December 2016
Meeting challenges, improving methodology and exploring new arenas. The food and drink industry scores low on R&D investments and innovativeness. The main objective of this research project is to stimulate the Norwegian food and drink industries innovativeness.
