Font size

You can adjust the font size on the website by holding the Ctrl key (Cmd key on Mac), while also pressing the + key to increase the font size, or – to decrease the font size.

Alternative text

All images should have alternative text so that they are understandable to people who are blind, have impaired vision or have turned off images in their browser.

Films

Nofima publishes a number of films on our research and activities. The films are published on our website and are also available on Vimeo and Youtube.

A compilation page provides a summary of all of the films we have published.

We currently do not have text alternatives for the films.

Downloads

Some documents at nofima.no are available in PDF, Word and PowerPoint formats. These are primarily attachments to our publications.

These documents can be downloaded by anyone. Most are locked to prevent editing.

To read them, you need free applications such as Adobe Reader, Microsoft Office or Open Office.

Languages

Our website strives to use correct, clear and user-oriented language that is understandable by all. However, not all texts can be simple, and not all texts can be free of technical terminology.

Publications from our researchers diverge from other content in that they contain significant technical terminology.

The primary language at nofima.no is Norwegian. We also attempt to translate all content into English.

IP addresses are masked before being transmitted to Google, such that information cannot be linked to individual users. We have also activated the additional function “Demographics and Interests reports.” You may opt out of this by changing your Google Advertising settings.

We collect the names and e-mail addresses of people who themselves have chosen to subscribe to our newsletters. The e-mail addresses are only used to distribute the newsletters.
